It is the New Year of 2017, I hope to do better this year for our Blog, with stories, hints, research advice and new free links.  All suggestions and questions are welcome.

Genealogy is dear to my heart and I spend a great deal of time on the whole subject.  It is very exciting to find the ancestors as I am sure all of you do.  More and more information is on the internet, which is a big help when one does not travel as much anymore.  Also picking up the phone and calling a town historian brings a wealth of information, most are willing to share records and receive the same in return.
